Just ran into this as well. It appears to be related to the update to media-gfx/imagemagick-7.0.7.11 from 6.9.9.0, where version 6 had this: /usr/include/ImageMagick-6/wand/magick_wand.h Yuk. While media-libs/xine-lib-1.2.8 does compile it doesn't work worth a damn for me. Videos basically freeze up and play a frame every few seconds. I get the impression that the stabilization of media-gfx/imagemagick-7.0.7.11 may have been a little premature. I was able to go back to package media-libs/xine-lib-1.2.6-r2 by adding -imagemagick to package.use for media-libs/xine-lib, and it seems to be working fine. It appears that 1.2.6 simply wasn't ported to imagemagick 7: https://www.imagemagick.org/script/porting.php amd64 stable ppc stable ppc64 stable x86 stable hppa please continue stabilisation of 1.2.9-r1 in bug 642500 instead. |
Created attachment 508450 [details] build.log emerge--info.txt xine-lib.txt hint: solved by setting keyword media-libs/xine-lib ~x86 so installed package media-libs/xine-lib-1.2.8 instead of package media-libs/xine-lib-1.2.6-r2
