Description
Sven Vermeulen (RETIRED)
![]() Hi, One thing I forgot to mention is that I got CUPS to accept the connections by amending its security config Allow from my domain - I am not sure how flexible CUPS is on this - eg can it have users - in my case of a home printer, its pretty low risk - but some people might be concerned about making a printer wide open for use... Chris Timeout. Marking as LATER. Keeping bug in mind (mentioned in metadoc) I'm taking on this one I've added a small chapter explaining the steps to have the printer be installed on Windows. Thanks for reporting. I've left the "wide-open" issue undecided, that's up to the user. |
