Bug 63959 – Programs fail to compile when attempting to access some abilities of Automake/Autoconf

When I try to emerge or configure certain programs from the source, once aclocal is run it complains about missing libraries although automake and autoconf are both installed. It also did about the same thing when running autogen.sh on Fluxbox CVS.

this has more to do with the versions of autoconf and automake that are being run (in gentoo we install several versions of each)

you neglected to provide `emerge info` like the bug report page says to

ok, sys-devel/autoconf-2.59-r4 was broken for a little while

please try autoconf-2.59-r5
