That is an interesting error. It happens in recursive directory removal function, so either that is broken in CPython or it's some kind of fancy race condition (gpg-agent being started implicitly, then cleaning up after itself?). (CC-ing gnupg maintainers for help) (In reply to Michał Górny from comment #2) > That is an interesting error. It happens in recursive directory removal > function, so either that is broken in CPython or it's some kind of fancy > race condition (gpg-agent being started implicitly, then cleaning up after > itself?). > > (CC-ing gnupg maintainers for help) the latter isn't an impossibility, the sockets are removed by gpg-agent when it is shut down, and yes, gpg-agent is implicitly started when running gpg, as all secret key operations are performed there. That said, it would be odd if this only happen on a specific architecture in that case? one way to go could be a gpgconf --kill gpg-agent ahead of reading the list for removal of the rest, that would provide a structured approach avoiding the race at least. But does that guarantee that the agent is fully terminated before it returns?
