Description Oleg Gawriloff 2017-11-24 11:07:14 UTC
It seems that some part of man pages is missing for cyrus-sasl. Notably man 8 saslauthd and man 8 saslauth.conf

All that missing can be found through this link:
https://sys4.de/en/blog/2015/01/07/missing-cyrus-sasl-man-pages/

So it would be nice to include that to installation.

Reproducible: Always

I have /usr/share/man/man8/saslauthd.8.bz2 owned by =dev-libs/cyrus-sasl-2.1.26-r9 .

> All that missing can be found through this link:

They're not missing if the source code doesn't include them and they are only found...

...elsewhere.

Yes, but currently we see only:
/usr/share/man/man8/saslauthd.8.bz2
/usr/share/man/man8/pluginviewer.8.bz2
/usr/share/man/man8/sasldblistusers2.8.bz2
/usr/share/man/man8/saslpasswd2.8.bz2

others
saslauthd.conf
ldapdb
libsasl
sasldb
saslpasswd.conf
and sql is still missing. And if you need configure that - you google it and finally arrives to the mention page.
