we can finally go ahead with this, all reverse deps were handled I just wanted to comment since I'm using xfce, and by default if you have only Adwaita theme, some icons are missing, especially in right click menus on the panel ... This theme seems complete (I'm currently on ~amd64). I know there are alternatives like x11-themes/elementary-xfce-icon-theme which is decent and complete theme, but some people prefer old style simple icons. I'm not sure if this is caused by missing icons, or xfce and its components use some different naming convention (I saw some commits regarding this in xfce git repos, to use new icon names). If possible can you please leave this theme available for some time? Thanks One example of missing icons is https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14133 I would open a bug report against xfce-base/xfce4-panel suggesting maintainers to apply https://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/commit?id=983bcedfa712d804657cd10b779fbf36219deff7 and to fix their dependencies (current ebuilds are not pulling any icon theme at all while it seems they rely on some). They should probably list adwaita elementary and other themes that supposedly cover the icons they are relying on Also, I am seeing that applying that patch, as they use the new names finally, xfce4-panel will probably be able to simply pull virtual/freedesktop-icon-theme for that icons (for example, mate icon pack is also providing them for example) removed |
