If you're in an editor like NANO or just in bash.. pressing DEL gives BACKSPACE. This can be very frustrating when coding something

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a document
2. write some text
3. press DEL

Actual Results:  
it sent Backspace

Expected Results:  
sent DEL

if u loadkeys no instead of no-latin1 then u get DEL instead of BACKSPACE, but norwegian chars stops working

Error in no-latin1 keyboard map.

Work-around:

1) gunzip no-latin1.map.gz
2) Comment away the line reading:        
plain keycode 111 = Delete              # "Remove" originally
3) re-gzip no-latin1.map.gz

I belive this refers to any version of this file as I got reply back from it's author. It was written in 1994 (!!!!).

workaround is there... but noone in gentoo cared to respond..
