During the configuration stage, it stopped with an error about some missing QtSvg5 thing. After manually installing qtsvg:5, it compiled fine. Other distros also already noticed this: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/otter-browser-weekly/

It does? Where is your build log? Where is your emerge --info output?
