Description Jos van Bakel 2004-09-11 01:09:37 UTC
KDE 3.3.0
X.Org 6.8.0 (Maybe this is the problem ?)
Kernel 2.6.8-gentoo-r3

When i select the "winamp interface" plugin in KDE Noatun music player, my whole systems stalls (i can't switch to a console, numlock doesn't work, mouse pointer can't move....)
I have tried 2 times and each time i had to push the reset button :(
I can play music with Noatun, and KDE seems to run stable.
Also i can use all other interface plugins in Noatun.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Noatun
2. Select "Configure Noatun"
3. Select "Plugins"
4. Select "Interfaces"
5. Select "Winamp interface"
6. Deselect selected interface
7. Press "Apply"

Actual Results:
System hangs, no response from keyboard or mouse, can't switch to a console
(ctrl+alt+fn)

Expected Results:
Show the winamp interface

It seems this is fixed for kde-3.3.1:

Comment 2 Matteo Settenvini 2004-09-12 12:29:15 UTC
happens also to me... let's wait for 3.3.1, then.
