Updating to libogg 1.1.2 will most likely fix this problem. Updated to libogg 1.1.2 and now mplayer produces a test-pattern screen with a block of static in the lower right hand corner (this stream http://mirror.fluendo.com:8800/ ). Even worse is when I use http://mirror.fluendo.com:8801/ mplayer segfaults and hangs. Although the fluendo applet works fine, http://mirror.fluendo.com/cortado/ . I'm not sure if these are mplayer specific bugs or theora also. Further testing is required. Well, it's not really going to be libogg, it's going to be libtheora, please check on what version you have. I was using 1.0_alpha3. I tried upgrading to 1.0_apha4 but the problem persisted. |
