NOTABENE: In case we stay with the solution proposed / provided by Ștefan Talpalaru <stefantalpalaru@yahoo.com>, app-emulation/vmware-tools-10.1.15.6627299 would become _*obsoleted*_ by using the corresponding USE flages of app-emulation/vmware-workstation-14.0.0 . VOTUM / Recommendation: Because the VMware extraction mechanism now only supports extracting 'everything' including 'all modules', this approach makes sense to me, and I would support it. @ Gentoo VMWare Team : . . .
