Comment 2 Rolf Eike Beer archtester 2018-01-27 21:17:40 UTC
Looks like gcc is too aggressive when optimizing. This fixes the problem for me:

Comment 3 Rolf Eike Beer archtester 2018-01-27 21:50:03 UTC
Only helps against the error in the "sha1" testcase, now the "hash method md5 (test vectors)" test fails in the same method.
Comment 4 Rolf Eike Beer archtester 2018-03-03 15:13:14 UTC
Same with 2.2.34

Comment 6 Sam James archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2021-02-05 21:13:25 UTC
Still an issue? We can send it upstream if so, they're quite good at listening it seems.
Comment 7 Rolf Eike Beer archtester 2021-02-06 15:27:50 UTC
Seems to work now. The other errors I see are in bug 727244.
Comment 8 Rolf Eike Beer archtester 2021-02-11 13:42:38 UTC
No idea how it worked, but I still see it in 2.3.13-r100.
