Please do not post binary attachments here.  Please post text, and make sure
the mime type is correct.

Also, Can youu pleasse post this change as a minimal patch that I can apply to
the xmmsmplayer.sf.net source rather than treating it as a fork here.  The
patch is easier to maintain and should also be submitted upstream.

no response from upstream.

I'd recommend submitting your changes to the upstream developers.
