Note: you should not be installing perl-core/Unicode-Normalize with Perl 5.26 The version in perl-core/ is the same one shipped with Perl 5.26 itself. I'm not even sure why its keyworded right now tbh. Probably just a side-effect of when this was here for 5.22 people who wanted a newer Unicode-Normalize without upgrading perl. However, thanks for reporting, and thanks for testing Perl 5.26 *** Bug 634040 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The bug has been closed via the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=240b754c40911f00ba96a0c52e60ac6dc11e9b2b commit 240b754c40911f00ba96a0c52e60ac6dc11e9b2b Author: Kent Fredric <kentnl@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2017-10-11 19:22:19 +0000 Commit: Kent Fredric <kentnl@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2017-10-11 19:23:18 +0000 perl-core/Unicode-Normalize: Dekeyword This was only needed historically for Perl <5.24 who wanted a newer Unicode-Normalise but not a newer Perl. Now that 5.24 is stable, this package should not be installable. Additionally, it is broken and needs patching to work on 5.26+ Closes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/634020 Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.8, Repoman-2.3.3 perl-core/Unicode-Normalize/Unicode-Normalize-1.250.0.ebuild | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) |
