Tried to do a stage 1 install today and it consistently fails in the bootstrap
trying to patch binutils. I emerged the same package on another system (did the
same patch) and it didn't have any problems.
Looks like 63359 is the same as this bug, but more complete. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 63359 *** Provisory solution | echo ">=sys-devel/binutils-2.14.90.0.8-r1" >> /etc/portage/package.mask Have fun! ;) You can unmask that now. It's fixed in the tree. |
