Description Daniel Kenzelmann 2017-10-04 06:43:34 UTC
Long awaited version 0.10 is ready which includes things like MAM out of the box and other new features:

http://blog.prosody.im/prosody-0-10-0-released/

This is the first release of our 0.10 branch. All of our recent releases have been from our stable 0.9 branch, which has served us well since the initial release of 0.9.0 back in 2013.

However time marches on, and we have a long list of new features and modules that we want to share with you.

This release contains over 1500 new commits from many contributors, adding and modifying over 30,000 lines of code.

Reproducible: Always

test ebuild

I used the 0.9.12 ebuild and modified it to compile without errors. Works for me, prosody 0.10 is running now.

[ebuild R ] net-im/prosody-0.10.0::gentoo USE="ipv6 mysql sqlite ssl zlib -jit -libevent -libressl -postgres"

however in prosody log I see:

**************************
Prosody was unable to find lua-bitops
This package can be obtained in the following ways:

	Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install lua-bitop

WebSocket support will not be available
