Thanks a lot, I think maintainer bugs are a great way of keeping information available and fast. Currently I proxy maintain the following packages: - app-portage/ufed - dev-games/ogre - sci-misc/boinc Currently my spare time is a bit restricted until the end of next week, but I am basically available. Although maybe not as fast as I'd like. But that will change soon. In the last 6 months I had a lot less time than I ever thought I have. My apologies for that. Luckily this is changing now as a huge project at work comes to an end. I hereby add to my list: - dev-libs/aws-sdk-cpp Luckily I need this at work, so I can do stuff on it there, too. Seems the situation was not as bad, as it looked, because you forgot to close bugs https://bugs.gentoo.org/638510 and there were open PR's since a very long time. Without your reply and the numerous comments about the lack of time and tickets on stall I have to believe that you have not enough time to take care of the bugs. For example this bug was assigned to you since 2012, you explained that you have no time https://bugs.gentoo.org/106815#c14 Yes, you can change your mail address in bugzilla preferences. Ask on IRC, if you get stuck. You can continue to contribute with no limitation. If you have fixed your mail and have enough time assign your self as proxied maintainer to your selected packets with the next bugfix via PR. I am looking forward to your contributions either as proxied maintainer or as contributor via PRs (add Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/633138 in the comment). If your PRs get no attention for a long period, please ping proxied maintainers on IRC. Thanks alot for your patience and helpful tips. I am currently sorting out where to start first, and have begun branch organization as you suggested. If that's ok for you I'll change the maintainer entry back with the upcoming PRs. Update 2020-12-15 This is the current status of the packages I maintain: app-portage/ufed -> Currently the package is listed as "Maintainer needed". I will update metadata.xml once I fixed some pending issues. acct-group/boinc acct-user/boinc sci-misc/boinc -> Bump PR waiting. I use BOINC regularly and will keep this updated. dev-games/ogre -> I forgot to put myself into metadata.xml, but will do with the next update. -> 1.12.10 got released -> OGRE-next 2.2.x (Cerberus) needs an ebuild. (I am highly interested in that particular one, as I want to use it on a private project.) -> reverse dependencies, particularly with OpenCV (and?) are still fishy. dev-libs/aws-c-cal dev-libs/aws-c-common dev-libs/aws-c-event-stream dev-libs/aws-checksums dev-libs/aws-c-io dev-libs/aws-sdk-cpp dev-libs/s2n -> We have a few AWS projects at work. Yes, I am allowed to run Gentoo on my company laptop. :) -> Several pending PRs and discussions going on dev-libs/ustr -> Idles around... No update for years, and I doubt, that there will be any more. -> Only <sys-libs/libsemanage-3.1 depend on this package, and 3.1 is stable. -> Once <sys-libs/libsemanage-3.1 got cleaned up, dev-libs/ustr could be last-rited. (Personally I do not use it any more.) |
