Try to build it, does it work? Then please get in touch with the proxy maintainers (irc) and/or open a PR on github regarding the bump. as of 2016-12-28 version 1.17 is available. please consider updating to this version. i note version 1.16-r2 is in tree. if this in tree version is the updated ebuild please disregard, otherwise do version bump. from upstream: Release 1.17. Make maximum packet size configurable.
