Hi:

   I'm traying to install Gentoo 2004.2 in my Pentium4 PC, but while basic system is compilating, it goes hunging!. I review temperature parameters, but CPU's temperature is ok. I also get out amp parameter in USE, but it occours while I'm bootshooting system, USE variable isn't untill deffinated... Can anyone help me? Thanks

What if you boot the CD with memtest and run a test on your system?
