Description Dennis Schridde 2017-09-22 18:57:36 UTC
There exists a global use-flag "geolocation", but two packages use a different "positioning" use-flag to trigger the same functionality: dev-python/PyQt5 and kde-apps/marble

I'm against this. The "positioning" USE flag is named after the Qt5 module QtPositioning, same as all other module-related flags.

Sorry, this ^ is for PyQt5, I don't know about marble.

Turning this into a bug about marble then.

@kde, do we want to rename marble[positioning] to geolocation?
Comment 4 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2017-09-30 09:09:46 UTC
Well, marble[positioning] is also named after the corresponding Qt5 module, but other dev-qt/ packages also use 'geolocation' for the same dep so I guess it makes sense.

Change made in kde overlay, fixed with 17.08.2 release scheduled soon.
