emerge --info on my system

First-time install of virt-manager exits with no output.
Running virt-manager --debug reveals that the org.virt-manager.virt-manager schema is not found.

This package installs the file:
/usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/org.virt-manager.virt-manager.gschema.xml

Before this file can be used the gschemas.compiled file must be regenerated.

Workaround: run "glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/" manually.

Installations after the first time might not show the problem since the gschemas.compiled file is probably still there from previous installs.

Possibly related to bug #566874?

I also noticed that the ebuild src_install() contains the line:
local mydistutilsargs=( --no-update-icon-cache --no-compile-schemas )
