Same issue here, but when using instead - stable sys-apps/sandbox-2.10-r3 - and also x86 with multilib - stops when ln -f -s /usr/lib64/libpython2.7.so which is a symlink to /usr/lib64/libpython2.7.so.1.0 This is why I just now try again with using not protected symlinks: # sysctl -a |grep protected_symlinks fs.protected_symlinks = 0 My new try succeeded: - using sysctl fs.protected_symlinks = 0 - having upgraded to sys-apps/sandbox-2.10-r4 - and having MAKEOPTS="-j1" --- One of the above factors got me compile boost-1.65.0 (In reply to Ulenrich from comment #2) > My new try succeeded: > - using sysctl fs.protected_symlinks = 0 > - having upgraded to sys-apps/sandbox-2.10-r4 > - and having MAKEOPTS="-j1" > --- > One of the above factors got me compile boost-1.65.0 It fails here with sandbox-2.10-r4 and MAKEOPTS="-j1". And it fails as well with MAKEOPTS=-j1, sandbox-2.10-r4 and fs.protected_symlinks = 0. @Juergen Cannot be I got through compile just by chance :) Weird :( When successfully compiled I additionally had these flags: EXTRA_ECONF="--enable-gold=default" CXXFLAGS="-march=native -O2 " without setting -pipe Bug has been referenced in the following commit: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=1f4cdea811496e9740761a1718f50d1fd4dfdd96 commit 1f4cdea811496e9740761a1718f50d1fd4dfdd96 Author: David Seifert <soap@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2017-09-06 22:22:23 +0000 Commit: David Seifert <soap@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2017-09-06 22:22:47 +0000 dev-libs/boost: Fix python multi-impl MPI handling Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=629848 Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.8, Repoman-2.3.3 dev-libs/boost/files/boost-1.65.0-fix-python.patch | 128 +++++++++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 128 insertions(+) Patch updated, please give it another try. With the updated patch (and no other changes to the system/config) compilation finished successfully. Successfully emerged. Thank you. |
