I am trying to emerge espeak on cygwin/prefix.
This pulls in media-sound/gsm-1.0.13-r1, which fails installing due to missing libgsm*.dll.a*

Your ebuild appears to come from an overlay. I have fixed the paths in the main ebuild but this doesn't have the "dolib lib/libgsm*$(get_libname)*" line so it would still fail on Cygwin. I'd want someone to test that before I commit it.
