Created attachment 491110 [details] emerge --info Happens that man page, init script and nullmailer-send executable (-s -syslog option) have lost syslog support, delivered package seems to deviate from upstream. mail-mta/nullmailer-1.13-r5 was fine.

One would need to port debian syslog patch to 2.0. Is not complicated. http://sources.debian.net/src/nullmailer/1:1.13-1%2Bdeb8u1/debian/patches/03_syslog.diff/

@geki Well, from a gentoo user point of view as I am, this is a big regression! I don't know who has applied the debian patch in gentoo nullmailer 1.13 and why, but the porting of the same patch to gentoo nullmailer 2.0 was mandatory before it was declared stable, especially if this is not difficult.
