As far as I know all *-bin version are created only for stable system. Libreoffice-5.4.0 depend on libraries not yet present in stable Gentoo and so developers can't create this release. Reference: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/LibreOffice (In reply to Marco Genasci from comment #1) > As far as I know all *-bin version are created only for stable system. > Libreoffice-5.4.0 depend on libraries not yet present in stable Gentoo and > so developers can't create this release. > > Reference: > https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/LibreOffice Maybe it's just for the stable system (but there are other binary packages, like firefox-bin or thunderbird-bin) which have versions for the testing (~) system. It seems that my initial bug asking for the binary 5.3.5 version was closed with RESOLVED WONTFIX status by mistake by the developer. From his comment, I understand that he thought I was asking for the source package to be bumped to 5.3.5, where there's already a 5.3.4 version in the tree for that package. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 627560 *** |
