When I run firefox 0.93 or mozilla 1.7.2-r1 from bash and access www.ebay.de I receive error messages.



Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open firefox or mozilla from bash
2. open the URL www.ebay.de
3. look what gets printed in the bash

Actual Results:

Expected Results:  
Don't display these messages. It seems to me that there is something broken.

Now that I look at the error messages, they're coming from gnome-vfs and aren't affecting your browsing experience.  Nothing here we're going to fix; the gnome upstream will fix it on their own.
