The current stable version =sys-power/bbswitch-0.8 fails to build with kernel 4.12 (see Bug 623736). Since sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-4.12.5 is stable now (see Bug 627492), the fixed =sys-power/bbswitch-0.8-r1 should be stabilized as well.
