Can confirm the workaround fixes the problem of CD detection, just tested it. |
Created attachment 488036 [details] Modified ebuild that works for me I have UT2204 on DVD, not sure which version, but all the data files are stored on the disk as separate UNCOMPRESSED cdroms The root directory consists of: AutoRun.inf CD2/ CD4/ CD6/ Setup.exe CD1/ CD3/ CD5/ linux-installer.sh The ebuild fails with the message 'unable to locate CD #1 root at /mnt/Genshare/Disk_Images/ut2004/ut2004' I have managed to fix it by amending and digesting the ebuild: problem was caused by the (2) lines cdrom_load_next_cd (Would appear that they are not needed as all the cd's are in the one place so I deleted them) Don't know how this would affect other DVD's but thought I'd share the knowledge for someone to insert into the next ebuild release? Works with ROOT_DISK set to location where I have made a backup , and with the DVD in a drive.
