0.27.0 is already stable on other arches. Do you mean that you want it to be keyworded for ppc64 ? Yes, But for ppc 32bit not ppc64. I have been running it on the G5 with 64bit kernel, 32bit userland. Erm, I mean stabilized for ppc, not keyworded for ppc64. Are eva@ and gnome@ fine if we stable gparted for ppc? Target keywords: =sys-block/gparted-0.27.0 ppc Personally I would try to keep "gnome related" stable tree as "small" as currently... It was a huge effort the one that was needed to try to reduce stable trees of "exotic" arches to not delay stable requests forever... hence, making them grow again doesn't look too future proof to me :/ Sounds fair. Does gnome@ have a wiki page describing current keywording policy by chance? I personally wouldn't mind if the arch team in question can keep up with stablereq's in the future, especially if there would be actual users of it on the architecture. Can always de-stabilize more aggressively in the past if you start slacking :P |
