Hi, it's your -ggdb CFLAG affects rust build. it produces enormous binaries bith. Check your other machines, most likely they do not have -ggdb. On my machine the initial build was about 14gb with -ggdb and I needed at least double the size to perform the merge, so the requirement is more than 34gb for sure.
