Same problem here, though I can't confirm it's specifically one type of font. My resume print shows graphic objects (a bar and bullets) only... posted to bugzilla.ximian.com after having the same problem also on a non-gentoo machine... http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=65223 Which printer did you select in cups? Does it help if you use the ppd for the actual printer you are using? Some printers (including ghostscript) accept Type42 fonts (wrapped truetype fonts), but some (older ones) don't. Convincing the printing system that those type42 fonts are accepted by the printer while they are actually not, could very well lead to the letters not ending up on the paper. This is a confirmed upstream bug, patch should be coming with the next release New version (1.3.3) in portage now which fixes this problem Fix noted (and appreciated) Suggest export to pdf and print that while waiting for 1.3.3 to emerge :) |
