Bug 625858 – Cannot change kde avatar icon in "start" menu

With the last kde 5 (after emering world yesterday) i got an avatar icon in the start menu. When i click on the avater a dialog appears where i should be able to change the image and / or edit personal information.

To do this the root password is asked. (is this really necessary? can't it be stored locally?)
however, after entering root pass, the personal information gets updated, but the avatar icon is not.

We need more information before we can work on that.
Please add the full package name in the title [1].

We must provide more details to the package maintainer, so that there is a chance to find a problem with the ebuild. 

Please reopen the ticket in order to provide an indication for an error in the ebuild.
