Thank you for your interest! Go right ahead and submit patches or open a pull request on GitHub, we will make you a maintainer right after committing them. We no longer use these bugs. See: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:Proxy_Maintainers/User_Guide#Taking_over_an_existing_package i.e. basically we'll add you as soon as you submit some meaningful change to the package (bugfix, bump, etc.) (In reply to Michał Górny from comment #3) > We no longer use these bugs.
