Description Benjamin Wohlwend 2004-08-31 15:10:36 UTC
kget crashes instantly when started on the console or via konqueror but starts normally via kmenu. Thus, konqueror integration isn't possible. This bug is known upstream (see URL field) and there is a working patch. I'll attach the slightly modified patch and ebuild.

AFAIK, this isn't a duplicate of bug #41515

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start KGet via konsole or konqueror
2. Start KGet via kmenu
3.

Actual Results:
While kget starts as expected via kmenu, it crashes via konsole and konqueror
with the following error message:

*** KGet got signal 11
ERROR: Communication problem with kget, it probably crashed.

Expected Results:
KGet should work, independently of the way it was started
