AxKit-1.6.ebuild (Update)
Depends on (all my submissions): XML-LibXML-1.52 (Bug 6233) XML-NamespaceSupport-1.07 (Bug 6232) XML-LibXSLT-1.50 (Bug 6234) Sorry for the delay, will be getting to this shortly, just didn't want you thinking it might be lost in the shuffle. (Shortly is in the next day or so, post if you need this checked much sooner than that) Axkit and the three upgraded deps have masked and submitted to portage for testing. All four installed just fine in both perl 5.6.1 and perl 5.8.0 (following some tweaks of the support mod_perl and XML-SAX packages, but that's unrelated). Will let you know when they go unmasked. * dev-perl/mod_perl Latest version Available: 1.27-r1 Latest version Installed: 1.27-r1 Homepage: http://perl.apache.org Description: A Perl Module for Apache But Axkit 1.6 doesn't see it :'-( emerge AxKit Calculating dependencies ...done! >>> emerge dev-perl/AxKit-1.6 to / >>> md5 ;-) AxKit-1.6.tar.gz >>> Unpacking source... >>> Unpacking AxKit-1.6.tar.gz >>> Source unpacked. checking for module mod_perl >= version 1.17... no AxKit requires mod_perl to be able to even run. You do not appear to have mod_perl installed (or your mod_perl is earlier than version 1.17). You can download mod_perl from http://perl.apache.org/ make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop. !!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully. !!! Function perl-module_src_compile, Line 16, Exitcode 2 !!! compilation failed Rigo, Re-emerge mod_perl. It looks like although mod_perl was originally installed, you might have updated perl (there were a number of corrected ebuilds released recently for 5.6.1 to address issues with the original ebuild) recently and the mod_perl information was lost. From my local machine: asimov AxKit # emerge AxKit-1.6.ebuild Calculating dependencies ...done! >>> emerge dev-perl/AxKit-1.6 to / >>> md5 ;-) AxKit-1.6.tar.gz >>> Unpacking source... >>> Unpacking AxKit-1.6.tar.gz >>> Source unpacked. checking for module mod_perl >= version 1.17... yes asimov AxKit # emerge search mod_perl Searching... [ Results for search key : mod_perl ] [ Applications found : 1 ] * dev-perl/mod_perl Latest version Available: 1.27-r1 Latest version Installed: 1.27-r1 Homepage: http://perl.apache.org Description: A Perl Module for Apache FYI, ignore the -r1 in that last post, the -r1 is from a test copy of mod_perl for an upcoming update to the perl-module.eclass ROFL - Then ignore my -r1 (see #6714) also ;-D This is on hold until the freeze lifts (though once it does, this and the three other modules you've submitted are already in portage, masked). Smile! At long last we are in a complete thaw - this is unmasked |
