kdegraphics can be compiled without it, and since imlib depends on gtk+-1 I'd rather not install it. I've modified kdegraphics-3.3.0.ebuild to support it, and it doesn't cause any problems on a system without imlib, but I haven't checked if it will use it anyway if it is installed.
