Are there any plans to add blowfish crypt support for sys-libs/glibc?
Vanilla glibc does not support this, but there are distributions like OpenSUSE, which build glibc with blowfish crypt.

I am running glibc with a local patch, so I can use blowfish crypt with dovecot. Works just fine here.
