A patch has been made available on the KDE bugzilla to fix the unstability of Kbabel.
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87437

However, when trying to apply the patch in an ebuild, an error message is displayed and the patch is not applied; the message is:
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 19: epatch: command not found

Would really appreciate if someone explained me what is wrong, since I just modeled the src_unpack from kdebase-3.3.0's ebuild

Ebuild for kdesdk-3.3.0-r1

Tries to implement the syntax-highlighting patch, but fails for reasons not
understood yet...

Of course, if I add the eutils, epatch might work just slightly better...

Ok, just to confirm the ebuild compiles and KBabel looks stable on my machine now.
