The following packages contain revisions with a dependency on ancient gnome-base/gnome-desktop:2 slot:

dev-dotnet/gnome-desktop-sharp
dev-dotnet/gtksourceview-sharp
dev-dotnet/rsvg-sharp
dev-dotnet/vte-sharp
dev-dotnet/wnck-sharp


Please try to get rid of those.
Additionally vte-sharp depends on ancient vte:0 SLOT, which is also rather bad.
wnck-sharp has questionable value as well.
gtksourceview-sharp also depends on a very ancient gtksourceview slot.

I want to get rid of all those old slots ASAP, but gtk-sharp-module.eclass consumers are blocking things along some other stuff I know better how to patch up.

agreed, it really should be done, I will try to work on this but can't tell much about time, if someone is able to help - please write it down
