KLinkStatus can check a website for broken links. It's flaky but it's the only one I've found that looks and feels like a KDE-application. I've tried to create an ebuild myself and did so by copying net-ftp/kasablanca-0.4.0.1.ebuild and modifying it to suit KLinkStatus. I suggest you look through it because I really have no idea of what I'm doing. ;-) The good news is that the ebuild works for me.
