All of the LDP howto docs work fine under amd64, so either ~amd64 or amd64 should probably be added to the keywords.  I've emerged all of the following with no problems with any of the docs:

app-doc/howto-html-single
app-doc/howto-pdf
app-doc/howto-ps
app-doc/howto-text
