attachment.cgi is still failing so https://paste.pound-python.org/show/uuWrKx2drKkgm0Vy3Pej/ is the build log. I have a similar problem :-( I apologize was sent an unfinished comment, sorry. After applying this patch the driver successfully compiled on my system. https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1002820/linux/-patch-381-09-kernel-4-11-rc5/ Same problem. Patch works while waiting for official solution. Thanks! as always this is of course a nvidia upstream "bug", but imho bgo is the best SRC for a user patch, so thanks for reporting, Brenton and providing a URL for a patch, Sergey! If anyone is reading this and wondering how to use this patch, merely run as root: mkdir -p /etc/portage/patches/x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-381.09 cd /etc/portage/patches/x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-381.09 wget -c https://gist.githubusercontent.com/tpruzina/e7e4b9085e354e6e9f9c0d2401c6e51c/raw/405ec63c8d2f9f8a010d14b2fc3ae9ada2e16707/nvidia-drivers-381.09-v3.patch emerge '=x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-381.09' works fine for me. *** Bug 618144 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** FATAL: modpost: GPL-incompatible module nvidia-drm.ko uses GPL-only symbol 'refcount_inc' |
