abcde >= 2.7 supports cover art which is a great feature. I have been using the 2.7 ebuild for over a year and it works perfectly for me. I used the patch posted under bug #583994 to get the media-libs/glyr dependency. I have never had the issue that the reporter wrote regarding extra characters coming from musicbrainz metadata downloads, though I too am using musicbrainz.
