I have installed dev-libs/liborcus-9999 but app-office:libreoffice-5.3.2.2 can't find it:

"checking for liborcus-0.12 >= 0.12.0... no
configure: error: Package requirements (liborcus-0.12 >= 0.12.0) were not met:

No package 'liborcus-0.12' found"

I tried with PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET=python3_5 and 3_6 but this (as expected) didn't cut it.

And when did you last rebuild liborcus-9999?
Comment 2 Petross404(Petros S) 2017-03-31 19:06:58 UTC
Not many days ago. You think it might was 0.11 the last time?

I will give it a try but fyi it was libreoffice-5.3.x that insisted to upgrade to 9999 :)

If you built it not many days ago, then it is already upgraded to 0.13 there.

LibreOffice does not force you to upgrade to liborcus-9999, portage --autounmask does that. Never apply without checking the output for sanity - we have liborcus-0.12.1 in tree which is perfectly enough for LO 5.3.
