When i boot into Xfce i see desktop files like /home/gentoo/Desktop/'User Handbook.desktop' that appear to be only in english.

I look for ways to translate distributions to my language.

It seems https://www.gentoo.org/get-involved/contribute/ only have instructions on how to translate the wiki pages.

So i would like instructions to be added on how to translate these "*.desktop" files to my language.

The right place to translate upstream desktop files is upstream.
