Package versions that might be relevant: media-sound/alsa-utils-1.1.2::gentoo sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-4.10.6::gentoo I had a nice chat in #alsa on freenode and they said to report it as a bug to their developers. The weird part: When I plugged in my webcam, the microphone showed up as having surround sound capability...but that stuff is directly associated with my snd-hda-intel playback device. please recheck on an updated system |
