I can't find anything that would even hint dependency on libcanberra. I can build and run fbpanel-7.0 without libcanberra. How does fbpanel depend on libcanberra? Can you provide more information? Agreed. It's just after update it refused to launch the first two times, and gtk printed a message in the console about not finding libcanberra, thus I emerged it with gtk flag, launched fbpanel and it worked. But now at reading your doubt I removed gtk flag from libcanberra, gtk still complains but fbpanel launches anyway. Can't think why it didn't launch the first times. It must have been me not killing fbpanel anciant version that well. every thing in order now, I close as invalid. |
