Ok, apparently the above messages are completely unrelated. Either way a clean Thunderbird profile doesn't show Enigmail in the add-ons tab. I experienced this, too.
* Installation of a symlink is blocked by a directory:
* '/usr/lib64/thunderbird/extensions/{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5}'
* This symlink will be merged with a different name:
* '/usr/lib64/thunderbird/extensions/{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5}.backup.0000'
*
I can see this:
# ls -l '/usr/lib64/thunderbird/extensions/{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-0060'*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Mar 11 18:14 /usr/lib64/thunderbird/extensions/{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5}.backup.0000 -> /usr/share/enigmail
/usr/lib64/thunderbird/extensions/{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5}:

Do you have the same thing on your system?
(In reply to Sławomir Nizio from comment #2) > Do you have the same thing on your system? Yes: # ls -ld /usr/lib64/thunderbird/extensions/*847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5* drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 märts 11 01:27 /usr/lib64/thunderbird/extensions/{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5} lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 märts 11 01:26 /usr/lib64/thunderbird/extensions/{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5}.backup.0000 -> /usr/share/enigmail It's bug 612160 then (which I found after commenting on this one). (In reply to Sławomir Nizio from comment #4) > It's bug 612160 then (which I found after commenting on this one). Yes, this seems to be the case. Thanks! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 612160 *** |
