When starting kube-mail I don't get anything. Starting it from the command line I made an obvious discovery:
fbissey@moonloop ~ $ kube-mail

QQmlApplicationEngine failed to load component
file:///usr/share/kpackage/genericqml/org.kube.components.mail/contents/ui/main.qml:22 Type MailComponent.Mail unavailable
file:///usr/lib64/qt5/qml/org/kube/components/mail/Mail.qml:24 module "QtQuick.Controls" version 2.0 is not installed

I don't know at this stage if other dependencies are missing.

Add dev-libs/kirigami (1.1.0 appears to be sufficient). I now have a window appearing.
