Hi,
seems like kernel 2.6.8 has a regression against 2.6.7, because on that my keyboard's scroll wheel worked fine, but in the new one I have the same problem of the previous (<= 2.6.6) which is quite annoying.
To fix the problem, Vojtech (when wrote the first draft of the wheel support), send me the attached patch which works on quite every kernel version and fixes completely my problem (and probably the problem of every other which want to use a keyboard's wheel.
I think it can be added to the -r2 of gentoo-dev-sources.

Can you please file a bug upstream at http://bugme.osdl.org so this can be fixed in the upstream kernel as this is an upstream issue? If the patch gets included, then feel free to reopen this bug and we will backport it into gentoo-dev-sources. Thanks!
